Some brides would like to have their bridal parties' florals a day before the wedding day for the early morning photo shoot schedule on their big days. We absolutely can deliver your lovely bridal parties' florals in advance. Below are some tips about how to take care of your bridal parties' florals.

For advance delivery of bridal party flowers, The earliest time to prepare the bridal party flowers is one to two days before the wedding. In order to keep them fresh on the wedding day, they cannot be prepared too early. For bouquets, we usually deliver them wrapped in paper with a water source container to keep the stems hydrated. Buttonholes sometimes are also placed in separate water containers for better water absorption. In most cases, buttonholes, corsages, and hair circlets are delivered in a sealed box with damp tissue paper to preserve moisture. Upon receiving them, store these items in the refrigerator where they can be kept for up to 24 hours. Avoid freezing the flowers by putting them in the freezer as it may damage them. Keep them out of direct sunlight and away from fruit as they produce high levels of ethylene. This gas can cause cut flowers to age more rapidly.

Here is the summary about how to care for your bridal party flowers:

Before the wedding day

  • Keep the flowers away from direct sunlight. Store them in air-ventilated and cool place.

  • To prevent the ribbon on the bouquet or buttonholes from getting wet, ensure that they are kept above the water level of the source.

  • You only need to change the water if it becomes very cloudy. Bridal party flowers are typically arranged one day prior to the wedding. The water provided should be sufficient for the flowers for an entire day.

  • Store the corsage and hair circlets in the fridge, not the freezer, and keep them away from the fruit compartment.

On the wedding day

  1. Remove all the wrapping paper or name tags (if there is any) from the bouquets and buttonholes.

  2. Remove the bouquets and buttonholes from the water source container.

  3. Remember to keep the ribbons on!

  4. Gently dry the flower stems to prevent water from dripping on your dress or suit.

  5. Always ensure that the front side of your bouquet is facing towards the camera :-)

  6. Secure the buttonholes on your shirt or lapel with the provided pins. The pin is usually worn on the left side of either your shirt or lapel. ("How to Pin a Buttonhole" Video Tutorial: h0ps:// www.youtube.com/shorts/hlpIkXkuSdY)
